Astrology Upgrade...The Next 7 Years
This is to let you know that I am running a seven day astrology retreat at Finca Indigo from the late afternoon of Saturday 5th September to mid morning of Saturday 12th September 2026. I have paid a 50% deposit on the retreat centre for these dates, so it is definitely happening, and I recently spent a long weekend at the retreat, just before its opening event. Content
Everyone attending will have a personal 30-45 minute reading of their chart with me during the week, recorded simultaneously for their later listening.
Saturday 5th: late afternoon/early evening there will be a welcome session and a brief astrological introduction. Evening meal. star gazing, community building.
Sunday 6th: Breakfast, followed by a Chiron day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning (covering Chiron: mythology, its position by house and the Chiron return) and evening (Chiron by aspect).
Monday 7th: Breakfast, followed by an axis day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning covering the Asc/Dsc axis, and the evening covering the MC/IC axis.
Tuesday 8th: Breakfast, followed by a Pluto day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning covering the post Saturn/Neptune conjunction, the ongoing Uranus/Pluto trine, the ongoing Neptune/Pluto sextile and the ongoing Uranus/Neptune sextile, and in the afternoon a thorough evaluation of Pluto transits.
Wednesday 9th: Breakfast, followed by a practical day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning covering Astrocartography and in the evening looking at different methodologies in interpreting a horoscope.
Thursday 10th: Breakfast, followed by a practical day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning covering Ceres by house and aspect and in the evening looking at planetary returns and different stages of life from an astrological perspective.
Friday 11th: Breakfast, followed by a practical day - two 60-75 minute sessions, in the morning covering the transits of the coming two years, and in the evening a look at the charts of current global figures.

Additional content
There will be star gazing every evening, weather permitting, possibly fuelled by a small glass of local wine. If desired, there will be yoga sessions on the Monday and Friday mornings for 60 minutes - there will be a ten euro charge per person, per session for this. On the Monday afternoon, there will be an optional visit to the Nerja caves, which have to be seen to be believed. (https://cuevadenerja.es/en/cave/). On the Wednesday evening, when the chefs have their evening off, we will have a collective meal in a restaurant in La Herradura, on the beach (individually funded). On the Friday morning there will be a visit to the weekly market with over 200 stalls in Almunecar, approximately 15 minutes drive from La Herradura.
Location/Transport
Finca Indigo is a seven minute drive from the beachside town of La Herradura, about an hour's drive east of Malaga and an hour's drive south of Granada. Transport will be provided from Malaga airport at approximately 2pm on the 5th, and back to Malaga airport arriving at midday on the 12th. Otherwise, an Uber or a taxi will cost around 90 Euros each way.
Facilities
All meals are vegetarian, breakfast, lunch and evening meal (vegan by request) except for Wednesday evening when the chefs have a night off, when we'll get local transport to/from a beach side restaurant for a meal out (individually funded).
There are two on-site swimming pools, one heated. There will be 24/7 light snacks and tea/coffee and water available on a self-serve basis. The main teaching room is light and airy with under floor heating and all tech facilities - there is good wifi. Finca Indigo is a purpose built retreat centre, so yoga materials (mats, blocks etc) are available, and if required (minimum 7 people) I can organise a local teacher for 1-2 sessions during the week. There are extensive views over the local countryside and the sea, particularly from the yoga platform.
Accomodation
There are nine rooms available for students at the retreat spread over five separate buildings at different levels in the retreat grounds, four of which are for single occupancy and five which can be shared, either with a double bed or with two twin singles with a bamboo partition - these can also be used as single rooms if required. Every room has inbuilt personal shower facilities to a high standard, shelving for your clothes, air conditioning and glazed windows - the light switches are Italian porcelain, and the bedding is Portugese cotton which gives you an idea of the all round standards.
All the separate accommodation rooms are either in the main building or within 75 metres of it.
Rooms 1+2
Casa Indigo - are above the studio in the main building, each having an en-suite shower room and can be used for two people sharing or as de-luxe single individual use. Room 1 has its own bidet.
Room 3
Casa Indigo - is a large single room on the 1st floor with an ensuite shower room downstairs.
Room 4
Casa Indigo - is a main building ground floor room with ensuite facilities, which is for two people sharing or one large individual room, and has its own bidet.
Room 6
Casa Siesta - is a twin room/large single room with ensuite facilities overlooking a valley and it’s own terrace.
Room 7
Casa Nidal - is a self contained single occupancy building with ensuite facilities and it's own terrace.
Room 8
Casa Pato - is a new build wooden chalet on its own terrace, and is for two people sharing or for one large single room.
Rooms 9 and 10
are in Casa Cielo, a Moroccan themed cottage at the top of the site, both with individual WC's and basins but sharing a joint shower and kitchenette in the middle of the building. Both bedrooms are large singles and have their own terraces.
Fees
Room 1: 2 people sharing, 2 beds/1 bed - £1,550 per person, £2,400 for single occupancy.
Room 2: 2 people sharing, 2 beds/1 bed - £1,500 per person, £2,350 for single occupancy.
Room 3: Couple - £1,300 per person, £2,350 for single occupancy
Room 4: 2 people sharing, 2 beds/1 bed - £1,500 per person, £2,350 for single occupancy.
Room 6: 2 people sharing, 2 beds/1 bed - £1,550 per person, £2,400 for single occupancy.
Room 7: 1 person, £2,250 for single occupancy
Room 8: 2 people sharing, 2 beds/1 bed - £1,550 per person, £2,400 for single occupancy.
Room 9: 1 person, £2,100 for single occupancy
Room 10: 1 person, £2,100 for single occupancy
